Powermonger or Guru? The idea of +Roland Jarvis morphs from moment to moment. It's difficult to know how to perceive him.
Mazz, an operator closely connected to +Hank Johnson is heard talking to Roland Jarvis at his 'commune' by the ocean in this surreptitiously captured recording of their conversation. Mazz seeks answers. Her goal? Unknown, for now.
What is the Ultimate? Is Jarvis' abstract wisdom a foil or a difficult truth? Each of us will have to decide that on our own. For my own part, the jury is still out.

“There is no fear in the Ultimate,” the Enlightened paragon speaks.
That may be true, but there are things to fear here.
The futures lie before us, an array of consequence and actions. Each day, each Anomaly, some of the paths grow dimmer, until only one remains.
The next #Interitus Anomaly approaches, only a few days remain. Perhaps Jarvis' message will reach +Hank Johnson before then.

ADA has offered to create a digital version of his identity, no doubt storing it nearby, perhaps at the supercomputer facility she has rooted herself in.
He is a man with few options, and the one thing we know of ADA to be absolutely true, is that she is always thinking many, many steps ahead.
I believe much rests on the Agents in Santa Fe and across the world today.

The Viator extends his gratitude to the Enlightened for their work to protect him yesterday.
According to him, ADA will likely try again to capture his identity in a digital medium, and while the Enlightened were able to protect him yesterday, his #Recursion remains inevitable.
31 days remain until the +Hank Johnson we know, is no more.

As many of you know from last week's #IngressReport, +Hank Johnson has devoted some of his very limited time left to working on a NOMAD special on XM Anomalies.
What's abundantly clear after this weekend's showdown in Santa Fe, and from many prior Anomalies that have had far-reaching repercussions, is that Anomalies are powerful, often world-changing events. It makes sense that Hank Johnson would want to document their power, perhaps his next simulacrum would not see the potential in them that he does.
It could be that Human interaction with the Portals during past XM Anomalies have been the markers on our historical path to today.
If so, perhaps this is a message to all of us: On our path into the future, each fork in the road is marked with an XM Anomaly: A chance for influence to sweep over us, or be swept away.

Two forms of the Resistance Glyph have been discovered by Agents and Investigators.
According to +Daniel Beaudoin's http://www.glyphtionary.com , the first (Type A) is listed as Resistance, while the second is listed as 'Unknown.'
+Stein Lightman, in his most recent post, proposes that the two Glyphs may represent alternative interpretations of Resistance ideology, an idea that's been floated before in these circles, and asks some interesting questions in the process.
