Roland Jarvis - Detailed Dossier
Pre-Niantic
Roland Jarvis was a sculptor who was brought onto the Niantic Project at CERN for his ability to replicate designs replicated from organized information from XM. He had been accused of copying his designs from another man's brain. This man would later hang himself from one of Jarvis's sculptures.
Niantic Project
During his time on the Niantic Project, the scanner app was leaked to the public with a patch for the Enlightened purportedly made by Jarvis. Jarvis was accused but denied any involvement in the leak or patch.
When a failed XM experiment caused the facility to be exposed to high amounts of XM, Jarvis and Devra Blogdonovich escaped and separated.
Jarvis was shot between the eyes and killed by the Hubert Farlowe and Jay Phillips of the NIA.

Life as an XM Entity
Jarvis survived as an XM entity, first manifesting at Cupid's Span at San Francisco in early 2013. Jarvis claimed to be in contact with the source of the ordered data in XM known as the Shapers. His methods and communication style has made him a prominent and controversial leader of the Enlightened.
Operation: Cassandra
Roland Jarvis approached Oliver Lynton-Wolfe and convinced him to leave IQTech Research. Together they embarked on a campaign to spread Enlightened influence to political and cultural centers around the world. However, when the Resistance won at Washington D.C., Jarvis and Lynton-Wolfe had a falling out that resulted in Lynton-Wolfe fleeing D.C. leaving a recorded rant behind.
Jarvis and Lynton Wolfe fought again in 13Magnus:Bangkok. Lynton-Wolfe used an experimental Chaotic XM weapon to shatter Jarvis 13 shards. Jarvis survived the attack. The Enlightened successfully gathered 8 shards at the Cupid's Span sculpture in San Francisco and were able to resurrect Roland Jarvis in human form.
Jarvis Lives
Roland Jarvis currently appears to have subdued Oliver Lynton-Wolfe, but his current plans are otherwise unknown.
